Online Embodied Practices

Via Video conference “ZOOM”

These online classes of Yin Yoga, & Soul Motion are based on the practice of conscious embodiment: the manifestation of our capacity to stay present, to hold the space of the moment and to be with our body sensations. Here our body is our reference point and instrument.

An invitation to breathe. Dance. Receive love. Give love in return. Show gratitude. Feel emotions & tension. Being alone together. Caring for yourself & others. Reach out. Unite.

“Gratitude is not a passive response to something we have been given,

gratitude arises from paying attention,

from being awake in the presence of everything that lives within and without us.

Gratitude is not necessarily something that is shown after the event, it is the deep,

a priori state of attentionthat shows we understand and are equal to the gifted nature of life."

CONSCIOUS MOVEMENT

* Moving Into Presence - an exploration in dance & movement / Online at your home or in nature

When we consciously choose to move, whether it's a slight stretch, a simple repetitive gesture, or a spontaneous dynamic sequence of movements in dance, we move energy. This often relieves tension, relaxes the nervous system, and brings our attention back to the present. Movement & dance, also accompanied by music, has countless positive effects on our physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Movement coupled with rest is a formula for nourishment and healing.

Moving Into Presence offers us the framework to experience movement, dance & stillness. Here the exploration lies in cultivating a deeper relationship with our own physical being.

Moving Into Presence aims, among other things, to create greater awareness and a stronger connection to the body. By exploring and embracing the wisdom of the body, we can unlock new levels of awareness and gain a deeper sense of presence, clarity and purpose in our lives.

Structure of the class: Movement can be characterized in five dynamically different qualities of movement, all of which correspond to our natural being & nature: flowing, staccato, chaotic, lyrical & calm.

We move through all five of the movement qualities, with the phase of stillness describing the transition from one quality to the next, so cultivating a conscious pause, grounding & centering in the transitions and for the moment itself.

There are movement inquiries at the beginning of each phase of the movement quality that follows, with room for your own exploration. The phases of stillness are accompanied by exercises that stimulate grounding and centering.

Important: Music is used as a source of inspiration for exploring the various qualities of movement - it can be both known and unknown, and can be experienced as pleasant and possibly unpleasant. The main feature is the exploration in and with the natural body, but not the meeting of a musical taste. I make the respective playlist available for download on Spotify after each class.

Dance floor: You decide where you dance: either at home or in nature.

What you need: A good internet connection and enough space should be available; you want to be undisturbed and be able to move freely. A camera that is on throughout the movement phase. Good speakers. You can install external speakers or use headphones.

Your condition: Everyone is allowed and able to dance: regardless of age, state of health, whether on two legs or on a chair, sitting or lying down. Your inner focus and willingness to be in the present moment is what matters most.

New dates are in planning.

One- on- one classes / by appointment

Sessions are available at any time via ZOOM.

My focus is on body-centered psychotherapy (according to the law on naturopathy) with an approach to let self-perception, relaxation and self-expression become inherent. During these sessions, we promote a warming contact with the core of our own being.
In addition to talking therapy, elements of creative dance and movement therapy, meditation, and relaxation techniques flow seamlessly together in holistic body work and therapy. Our tangible joint work develops through our personal contact and is based on your needs, moment by moment.
